Buick Streamliner - 1948

This classic Buick Streamliner is in pristine condition, restored by Dave Crouse for the 2010 Concours d'Elegance.

Its original construction took over two years, built with an aluminium body around a steel chassis. Not only is it unlikely you'll ever see this beauty on the road, it's likely that you will never see it on the auction block.

A car like this is too rare, too beautiful for any owner to pass it up - no matter what the price.

Looking at this car we can only lament the direction car design and body aesthetics has gone.

DON'T MISS THIS ONE!!!

This is a neat video showing the first assembly lines at the original Ford auto plant.
Good to see those guys making the old wooden wheels, by hand mostly......
